Size: 12x12 in
Rocky Shores 12 x 12 acrylic on panel I was in the mood to work on rhythm in a painting and this is what resulted. My art is painted in a very loose, rather impressionistic style so the viewer can create his/her own interpretation of shapes and marks throughout the painting. I like to think of this as a "visual experience" that engages the viewer, rather than one that spells out explicitly what is in front of her or him. To accomplish this, I use a variety of tools: brushes, palette knives, and cold wax, cardboard edges, sponges. Thank you for viewing.
