Day 4 of 30. About a month ago I did a painting from this photo reference in my watercolor class. All of my students and I had such a good time with it that when I decided to do doors and windows as a theme for my 30 paintings I thought it would be great fun to try it again using oils this time. It was interesting to do the same subject mater using the 2 different mediums. Each had their own advantages and challenges, if your interested in seeing the watercolor version you can find it on my Daily Paintworks gallery page. This painting won't ship until 10/15/18.
