This was painted en plein air on a chilly, windy, rainy day in April. I was situated on a covered bridge, but was still exposed to the elements. I made the most of my time and feel that I was able to capture the feeling of being there. At noon someone came to set off the weekly weather alarm test which was stationed right under the bridge next to me. So loud!! The geese entertained with a lot of drama and commotion.
