Plein air painting from Slate Run Living Historical Farm. I was surrounded by home schooled groups of children and workers all dressed in pioneer clothing. It truly felt like a time warp! Because of the rain, I painted under a shelter with my new friend Chester the cat! It was my second attempt at painting over an old painting- which is very mentally challenging for me- in a good way!
