I have a friend that let me pick blueberries on her property three times this past summer. I wanted to paint some blueberries so that I could have some notecards made up as a thank you gift. As inspiration I used a brillant photo by Ross Truxa on Free Reference Photos for Artists that perfectly captured the beauty of the fruit. This painting received a blue ribbon for first place in the oil painting category at the Greater Salem Art Association in their winter 2025 show. See the second photo of this post to see the painting with its bling. The price for this painting does NOT include the custom frame that you see in the second photo.
