I painted a 6" x 6" study of this image last year for the Daily Paintworks fundraising auction for Ukraine. The study was so small that I was unable to include the image of the bee. I enjoyed looking at the painting and determined to do a larger version and include the bee. The challenge in this was to show the sunlight coming through the petals.
