I live in the little watermen's village where the famous Ward Brothers began carving decoys. This painting is done in their workshop. The Ward Brothers are long since gone, but their decoys are some of the most prized decoys in the world. They were two simple guys who observed and loved ducks and geese and their work is so immediate that the decoys look as though they could fly! Painting is framed in a beautiful bronze floating frame.
