Gouache from the series “Mostar. Old city”. Mostar is a city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, famous for its bridge. In the 16th, a magnificent bridge was built by order of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Now the Old Bridge is protected by UNESCO. Many tourists, having seen the Old Bridge, believe that they recognized the whole of Mostar. However, the city is not limited to one bridge. My task, both as a tourist guide and as an artist, is to show people undiscovered parts of Mostar. Series of gouaches “Mostar. Old Town” has exactly this goal. Mouth of the Radobolja River Radobolja is a right tributary of the Neretva, the main river of Mostar. It flows into the Neretva under the Old Bridge, a stone's throw from the Halebija tower.
