This little piece of candy almost did me in! That blue foil just started taking on a life of its own. I decided to go with what was happening on the painting surface and just using the actual piece of candy as a basic reference for lights and darks. I like to think I won the struggle! Note: The painting is on 6x12 inch cradled board. The board is 2 inches in height. Please see the second photo. This little piece of candy almost did me in!
