As I painted the petals & layers of the Dahlia, words such as symmetry and asymmetrical came to mind.  None of the petals and layers are perfectly painted or the same size.    God, our Creator clearly tells us that each of us are uniquely created in His image.  There are no "repeats". 

I love painting with vibrant colors, however,  I discovered after I finished the painting, that a red  Dahlia speaks of strength & power.  A purple Dahlia speaks of royalty, dignity, and grace.  

"Divina" derives its meaning from Divine Providence.  

It is my desire and prayer,  that as you observe this painting in your home, you will be reminded that out of God's Divine Providence, He designed you with with beauty, grace, dignity and uniqueness.
