A while back I painted this same scene from a restaurant photo I took. I called it "Waiting for my Bride" because I had a whole imagined story in my mind that he was waiting for his wife, and what his thoughts were, etc. That painting sold at the Detroit Artist Market, but I had an urge to paint from that photo again. Naturally, I had to call it, "Still Waiting for my Bride"🤣 this is 12x9 with wide painted edges (shown), so no frame is needed. A while back I painted this same scene from a restaurant photo I took.
