Winter in Southern California. . . It's really the best time of year, but don't let anyone know! 😉 The crowds are gone for the most part and the light is beautiful. I did this on location in La Jolla a few weeks ago. My goal was to just try to capture the feeling of the afternoon- to catch a little of that blinding light on the water. I've painted in this spot tons of times, and I see no end to the paintings here. Winter in Southern California. . .
