painting for Daily Paintworks the idea is to produce quickly and have a good turnover. However quickly one might want to churn out paintings, the artist in me simply resists this and works to a different tune, or ethos. There is no 'end' or idea of a finished product in mind as I start out. It either happens almost in front of my eyes, without any thought, or it is a painfully long process that no matter how much I might try to understand why, I never find out just what the difference is. This one happened fairly quickly that is to say - basically 2 sessions, over 2 days.
