** FRAME NOT INCLUDED ** This piece, believe it or not, was a real lesson in color temperature. Here goes: High key colors cool as they recede and warm as they get closer. Low key colors warm as they recede and cool as they get closer. Or so I'm told. I think it was really effective here. :) I dont think this painting screams a a particular mood or even says "old worldly" . I just really like it. I ended up painting an accent wall in my family room this color green and threw cranberry accents around. See how that works?
