I attended the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS) biennial convention hosted at the Hotel Albuquerque in June of 2024. The grounds were incredible and the morning light was aglow. I took many reference photos while there. I chose to paint this fountain for several reasons including the warm halo of light around the the cool stone of the fountain, and the challenge of accurately rendering the fountain itself. This pastel painting is 12" x 16" on dark blue archival paper. Painting is currently sold unframed and will ship to you securely wrapped with framing guidelines to take to your framer. NOTE: Pastels must be framed under glass. FREE SHIPPING within the Continental US.
