Media: watercolor and ink on 140# Arches cold press paper
Size: 5x5 in
This is an original watercolor painting of one of the bell towers at Mission San Juan Capistrano in southern California. I have sketched many of the California missions I have visited. San Juan Capistrano is one of my favorites. Much of the original architecture is still there, and it is one of the most beautiful missions. It is known for the swallows that return to Capistrano each year on March 19, the Feast of St. Joseph. This painting ships unframed and is not matted, but it will be protected for shipping with an acid-free foam board backing and enclosed in a clear bag. Shipping by USPS Priority Mail is included in the price. Prints and cards with my artwork, as well as other products, are available on my site at Fine Art America / pixels.com.
