I don't usually paint things that are melancholy, but this one just turned out that way. A girl stands in an interior with a window in it. In the far background are the Chisos Mountains of Big Bend National Park, Texas, plus a Mexican jay and a roadrunner. The girl's shirt has symbols for infinity and love. The sleeping dragon?
