Fallen Jerusalem, BVI. 8.5 x 6 gouache on Arches hot press watercolor paper. Happy to paint here while the family napped after a gorgeous morning at the Baths. Only boat there, so peaceful and beautiful. FJ is so named because the rubbled boulders all on top on one another resemble a destroyed ancient city. Saw a red-billed tropic bird here! And weirdly, saw thousands of conch shells on the ocean floor while snorkeling, like someone had dumped them there, yet they were all lying same side up.
