Ready to Rope 12 x 16 Oil on Linen Panel October 24, 2020 I participated in a Jr. Calf Roping quick draw. These were the young riders as they waited their turn to rope a calf. They were crazy good. If your son or daughter competed in this, he or she may be in this painting. Since this was a time limited competition, it is very spontaneous and may appear "unfinished". I chose to not make further adjustments to it or it would lose its spontaneity. Signed and varnished. It really looks good in a black frame. I am an award wining artist.
