Media: Plein air oil on linen mounted to birch panel.
Size: 12x16 in
This painting time turned into a bit of an adventure when a cow went over a fence into a nearby cornfield, leading to a long chase by the farmer and his somewhat trusty dog, while I shouted and pointed direction from my vantage point on the hillside pasture.
I missed out on the light and shadows I had anticipated, but there was something intriguing about the softer hues of evening in the valley, and the sky put on a show to the west. This painting is varnished, and is unframed.
Please note that colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings, and that no watermark appears on the actual piece.
