My first painting of 2025. I finally got myself back in the studio! Yay! I've realized that the longer I stay away, the harder it is for me to get back to it. My old friend Perfectionism (disguised as procrastination and/or avoidance) kept showing up, so it took even more of an effort to push through. I really should know by now when I choose cleaning the house over painting that something's up! Acrylic paint on a 1.5" wide cradled wood panel. Sides are painted black. Painting and sides are finished with a satin varnish for added protection and an even sheen. Wired and ready to hang! My first painting of 2025. I finally got myself back in the studio! Yay!
