I didn't know what type of butterfly this was, but according to Google Lens, it's a leopard lacewing butterfly, so I'm going with that. Now to decide if the flowers are marigolds or zinnias? Acrylic paint on a 1.5" wide cradled wood panel. Sides are painted black. Painting and sides are finished with a satin varnish for added protection and an even sheen. Wired and ready to hang!
