This is a plein air piece (100%). It was painted just off the Natchez Trace Parkway in Canton, Mississippi. There is a place in the Pearl River that bends before it reaches the Ross Barnett Reservoir. A tornado passed through this area of the Natchez Trace after I painted here so many of these trees are gone. This is a plein air piece (100%).
