This piece is dear to my heart. Two of my children have played the cello, and one played the viola in high school. My family has always been very musically oriented. When I see this piece, I think of them and how much music has enhanced their lives. Hearing them practice when they were young still resonates in my heart. This piece is dear to my heart.
