This is a view of Blue Mule Farm in Fayetteville. This beautiful little winery is one of our favorite happy places and it's been way too long since we've spent some time there. For this little 6" x 8" painting I used Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache with a bristle brush on Strathmore 400 series acrylic paper. Blue Mule Farm & Winery is a little slice of Texas paradise and well worth a road trip. Check them out at bluemulewines.com and say hi to Ashley Gaas Dalhart for me if you stop by the farm. "Blue Mule Farm" is an unframed 6" x 8" gouache painting on paper. I add a light coat of varnish to my gouache paintings which gives them a slight sheen and helps protect the surface.
