We have lost so many peaceful moments in the swirling world of technology, pastimes that people decades ago enjoyed and made time for in leisurely times. I hope to paint a series of paintings drawing us back into those moments, of embroidering, reading, playing a musical instrument, cooking, painting, even napping and the many, many other things we've forgotten to make time for. Here you see my dear friend and her sweet daughter quietly reading together, Eloise, about MY favorite rascal who lived at Central Park Plaza in NYC. You may recognize them in several other paintings as we had a great photo shoot!
