My tremendous love for dogs has driven me to produce a dog calendar over the past few years. Many of the dog portraits are rescues, other are commissioned, and of course, my own dogs were always featured in the calendar. Devastatingly, I lost both of my dogs within two weeks of each other and so my 2020 calendar was dedicated them; my big Anatolian Shepherd dufus, Louis, and my little 10 lb. red dachshund, Rosemary. They were the odd couple but they loved each other very much, and they are my muses when I paint dogs now. Woof. Here you see a stray, free spirited beach dog from my trip Tahiti.
