Getting back to real life after nine days in Florence, Italy for a workshop with Carol Marine and eleven other wonderful artists. I took so many reference photos of my trip and I can’t wait to paint and learn from them all. Florence, Italy is a really magical place! I just love this Vespa I saw outside a shop on one of the many beautiful streets of the city. One of the great things about going to a workshop is all the tips and tricks you get from the other artists. I rearranged things today and worked on my lighting setup that I am loving. I took my easel light and faced it towards the ceiling so that the light would bounce down onto my easel and palette. This has really limited the glare and I am loving it!
