I have been taking a wonderful class on exploring color through still life at Gage Academy online with instructor Ashley Johnson. We have been studying complement sets and it has taught me so many things about color 🤯. I feel like I found the right class at the right time. I started this painting with the complement set of cadmium yellow light and dioxazine purple. I decided to paint from a photo I took of my favorite breakfast sandwich from Egg Slut.
