I am out of the studio today! My oldest daughter, a junior in high school, asked me to go on a field trip with her art class today to downtown LA to visit the MOCA and surrounding areas. When your teenager asks you to go on a field trip you drop everything and go! I am excited to apply everything I learned in the Carol Marine workshop in Italy about taking reference photos. I have my camera, extra batteries and SD cards ready for todays field trip. This is a painting was completed during the workshop in Florence, Italy. While walking through Piazza San Giovanni, this women's bright colored clothing caught my eye. I really learned so much from this painting! I am out of the studio today!
