I painted this plein air at Rosewood Nature Study Area in Reno, NV, back in June 2023. My plein air pieces usually get put away because I'm never happy with them, but this one actually sat around, facing me, in the studio until now. I put it up on the easel, did a bit of touch-ups, and now I can wrap it up and file it away... It was a beautiful day at an incredibly scenic location. It's hard to pick a view to paint.
