This was a plein air painting I did during a week workshop in Northern Maine just below Mt Katahdin. We stayed in an old hunting camp where the instructor gave a demo or talk at breakfast, then we painting all day to reconvene at dinner and a critique at night. It was cold and rainy all week which presented some problems as I was working in watercolors, but I loved it.
