Media: Oil REPURPOSED CARDBOARD
Size: 5x8 in
The current full moon was too much to resist. I wanted to capture it as simply as possible, so I used a shallow plastic box with a pre-loaded palette in the base and my panel taped inside the lid. When I got to the spot at the edge of a nearby farm I opened the lid and I was ready to paint. The entire painting was done with a knife. No brushes to clean and no solvents to spill. When I finished I simply closed the lid with the painting stored safely inside. This is an oil painting on repurposed cardboard. The painted area is approximately 4x4 inches, and the cardboard panel is 8x5 inches. (ww3770) The current full moon was too much to resist.
