Media: Acrylic Painted of gessoed flat panel
Size: 8x8 in
This painting is from a picture I took in Columbia, NC - just 40 minutes south of the Outer banks. The canal is off from the Scuppernog river in the inter-coastal, inner-banks of North Carolina. This area is know for commercial fisherman catching all kinds fish and crabs. There are many canals which serve as good docking points for commercial fishing boats. I recently attended a workshop on underpainting techniques which I tried out in this painting. Thanks for taking a look!
