The second painting of roses in a sugar bowl. This is a watercolor batik which is painted on rice paper! This process uses hot wax as a resist. The painting is mounted on a cradled panel and treated so that it doesn's have too be put behind glass. The floating frame pictured comes with the painting. Thanks for taking a look!
