Media: Poured watercolor on watercolor paper mounted on a galllery wrapped canvas. The canvas has a1 1/2 inch profile.
Size: 9x12 in
This painting is another one of my favorite subject - the Whelk Shell! This is also another "poured watercolor" which is a process of using liquid mask to mask out the values from lightest to darkest. In between the masking - diluted watercolor is poured on watercolor paper and then allowed to mix on the paper. Thank you for taking a look!
