This oil painting is inspired by the area near Merritt College in Oakland where the trail winds gently under a canopy of intertwined branches, light filters through in intricate, shifting patterns. I painted it using photo reference by talented photographer Ralph Cooksey-Talbott. Used with permission, this artwork is a full palette 20 x 16 oil painting. Please note, there's a small tear that was noticed in the canvas, so I have now priced it below the regular price. The tear has been now patched by tape and the damage is invisible from front.
