The wild horses in Corolla on the Outer Banks of NC are a big attraction. They used to roam freely until too many horses being hit by cars forced the city to keep them coralled in a reserve north of the roads. A few get out sometimes but are quickly rounded up and driven back to the reserve. My parent's house in Corolla borders that reserve. We love when we get a visit from the horses.
