I had so much fun painting this one! I always say that, but this was super fun. I have had photos of French Actor Alain Delon in my "to be painted" folder on my iPad for a while now. I feel bad that I never got around to painting anything until after his death. (RIP.) I used a limited palette of Burnt Sienna, Ultramarine Blue, and Titanium White. Then I lost my tube of Burnt Sienna, so I went with Terra Rosa, which is more opaque, but very close to Burnt Sienna (at least for my purposes). An interesting challenge! I try to photograph colors accurately, but please be aware that there will always be variations in how monitors display colors. You may see a slightly regular 'texture' in the photos, that is not a canvas texture, nor is it part of the brushstrokes. I don't notice it too much. However, if you do notice it, please be assured that it is not on the actual painting. It's just in the photos. PAINTING WILL BE READY TO SHIP IN THE FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER.
