This is "La Bruja" ('the witch', which is not meant literally, it means in this case grumpy or mean). This is our "mamacita," the mama kitty, who lived a life of a semi-street cat. The neighbors moved and left her behind. She was without food and water for a day. She was pregnant (though nobody knew that until after we got her spayed). She was scared, insecure, and ravenous. She had an "edge" to her. This is a polite way of saying she was a "biter." Yeah, I gave La Bruja a wide berth. But time and lots of wet food (she LIVES for wet food! it is her reason for living!) has mellowed her out. A lot. Much sweeter now. Likes to spend time on the lap. But I still am cautious, because I don't want to take the chance, you know? Priced a little above my norm because you're gonna have to really want this painting. It's of our "Bruja," after all. I have done my best to represent the color accurately but please note that all monitors and devices display colors differently.
