Another acrylic painting! I want to become more comfortable with this medium. I paint with it sometimes but would like to use it more. Though I confess that oils will probably remain my first love. (I did learn them first!) This kitty is painted with more "broken color" and the strokes are somewhat "chunky" sometimes. What a fun way to paint! And what a lovely cat! Gorgeous eyes and fascinating colors in the fur. I can sometimes limit my post office trips to a couple times a week, so there may be a slight delay before some paintings get shipped. Furthermore, when the weather is particularly iffy (especially in the Winter) there may be a longer shipping delay. I try to photograph the colors accurately, but it's difficult to predict how colors will look on each tablet, computer monitor, or phone.
