This was the most beautiful golden sunset. I knew beforehand that the sun would set around 11:30 p.m. and rise again about 2 hours later, but what I didn't realize was that it would never get dark. The sun barely dipped below the horizon in the northwest each night and then came up again soon after just a little bit to the east of that. It was pretty cool, though my body's rhythms were definitely thrown off. This was the most beautiful golden sunset.
