This is a vignette of a rose garden at the Huntington gardens, with the light hitting just right. I love sketching with colored pencils. Their transparency is like stained glass. Most of the areas on this sketch are built up with several different colors. The drawing comes with a mat and backing board, bringing the total dimensions to 8x10".
