I had the pleasure of taking a flower painting workshop this weekend from Christina Weaver. All three days we were painting outside, peering deeply into flower beds. I started this one outside at the lovely Arlington Garden in Pasadena, but then later finished it up in my studio. It's in oil paint on gessoed heavy weight paper.
