This painting was the result of sharing art studio space with young ballet dancers. I hung a pair of new shoes on the door and played with the light to get the shadow I wanted. I enjoyed capturing the tones and shine of the pink delicate satin and love the contrast of the old blue door - I’m very happy with this one 🩷💙 and it will be exhibited at the International Art Fair in London in March.
