These “Red Hot Pokers” flower in the Winter Months and frame this outstanding view of Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar from Europa Point in my hometown of Gibraltar. Two continents (Europe and Africa) framed by nature in one painting, separated by the stretch of water at the mouth of the Mediterranean Sea where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. I never tire of this wonderful view and wanted to capture it in full colour.
