So, I am back into portraiture. Humans are deeply fascinating and emotional to me. When I am painting I want to do them justice in their presence and humanity and their beauty as I see it. I appreciate symmetry and likeness but that does not drive my hand. This represents my first attempt, one of more paintings of Emma Gonzalez an American activist and advocate for gun control and so much more. I am in awe of her.....
