Tiny 3 inch painting on a tiny easel....Chicago! My brother used to live there, so I visited a few times years ago. This painting was a project from the book, 50 "More" Small Paintings by Mark Daniel Nelson. I recommend his books if you want to be led down a path of trying something new. On this project it was thinned out paint that was supposed to give the feel of the sunlight in the sky washing over the buildings.
