I'm not a fan of red shoes in general, they pop out to me and become almost like clown shoes, something worn only to garner attention. But when I began this painting, and was deciding what color the heels should be, the decision was quick: they must be red, no other color would do. So, perhaps next time I see someone in red shoes, I'll wink my eye (rather than roll them). It is varnished and ready to ship. Free shipping in the US.
