Some of our nearby rolling hills have unusual names - like this one. I don't know exactly who came up with "Jump Off Joe" Mt but it's a common hillside to the southeast. A wind farm is up there so the road is maintained, though dirt. I truly think it's the windiest & coldest spot in the area, so I've yet to paint plein air there. Maybe someday, while sitting warmly in the car.
